Wayne Art Center is seeking submissions for CraftForms 2026, the 31st International Juried Exhibition of Contemporary Fine Craft, in the following mediums: basketry, ceramics, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metal, mixed media, paper, wearable art, and wood. Works created utilizing CAD/CAM technologies and 3D printing tools are also eligible.

Selected works will be on display in the Davenport Gallery of Wayne Art Center in Wayne, Pennsylvania from December 6, 2026 through January 23, 2027. This year’s jurors, Dr. Robert K. Liu and Patrick Benesh-Liu of Ornament Magazine, will present $12,000+ in prize awards funded by Wayne Art Center.

Apply to perform at the Farmville PorchFest on Saturday, September 19, 2026. PorchFest is a community music festival that transforms neighborhoods into music venues, bringing people together through live music, local talent, and small-town hospitality. As part of Arts Across Farmville Week, historic downtown porches will come alive with performances by local and regional musicians, inviting neighbors and visitors to stroll the streets, discover new artists, support local businesses, and experience the best of Farmville together.

Event will be held outside and is rain or shine. If the event is rescheduled due to severe weather, the postponed date will be September 26, 2026. Artists will be able to perform up to a 2 hour set. If unable to fill a 2 hour set, artists may share a porch with another group/musician. Musicians must bring their own instruments and equipment.

Please join us for the 5th Annual North Carolina Veteran Art Show from Friday, October 2nd, to Friday, October 16th, at the Durham Art Guild Golden Belt Gallery. The 31st annual season of the Twin Rivers Media Festival will celebrate this year screening the latest and greatest in independent features, documentaries, short and animated films. 28 countries were represented last year in the 60 films selected for screenings. The Gibbes Museum and Society 1858’s Prize for Contemporary Southern Art is awarded to an artist whose work contributes to a new understanding of art in the South. Presented annually, the Prize recognizes the highest level of artistic achievement and welcomes applications from artist working across any media. Artists who reside, work in, or are from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia are encouraged and eligible to apply.

This exhibition is called "Imposter". We're looking for art that isn't quite what it seems. ALL mediums are welcome, but you must use the medium in a way that is NOT the intended purpose OR it must mimic a different material. The Imposter Exhibition Opening Ceremony will be held at Eikon Gallery on October 2, 2026. The exhibition will run from October 2 - October 16, 2026.

You may submit up to 2 pieces and must be present at the ceremony to receive one of the cash prizes.
