Request a Teaching Artist for Your School

This request form allows North Carolina public schools and districts to express interest in hosting a teaching artist engagement supported by the North Carolina Arts Council.

Before completing this form, please review the available teaching artists, engagement offerings, and date options. You will be asked to select a first and second choice of teaching artist and to indicate your preferred dates. Dates are listed by week for planning purposes, and final engagement dates may vary within the selected week.

Requests will be reviewed between August 3–September 30, 2026, and will be matched based on artist availability, scheduling feasibility, and available funding. Schools selected will be notified by October 30, 2026.

If requests exceed available funding, priority consideration will be given to Tier 1 counties, Title I schools, and schools that have not recently received North Carolina Arts Council funding.

After submitting this form, you will receive an automated confirmation email indicating that your request was successfully received.
