National AIDS Memorial The Mary Bowman Arts in Activism Award supports accomplished young and emerging art activists ("artivists") who use arts as the vehicle for heath, social justice and/or HIV/AIDS community activism and expression to raise greater awareness about bigotry, stigma, and social inequities. Student and non-student artivists are welcome to apply. Application deadline is July 15. Winners notified by September 1.

Anthology Short Story Competition 2024 Established to recognize and encourage creative writing and provide a platform for publication, the Anthology Short Story Competition is open to original and previously unpublished short stories in the English language by a writer of any nationality, living anywhere in the world. There is no restriction on theme or style. Stories submitted must not exceed the maximum of 1,500 words. Writers can submit as many entries as they wish. Each submission will require a separate entry form.

NBA Foundation Grants The NBA Foundation is now accepting grant applications for 2024 on a rolling basis. Applications will be reviewed within 12-14 weeks of submission and only applications from organizations serving Black youth within NBA markets will be considered.
In order to be considered for a grant from the NBA Foundation, your organization must meet the following requirements:
Qualify as a registered 501(c)3 tax organization or a T3010 if operating in Canada Have a current IRS Form 990 from the most fiscal year Focus on promoting school-to-career employment opportunities that target Black youth ages 14-24 years old Serve a minimum of 25 youth annually across your programs
