Fall into Focus residency program is for artists, writers and researchers who want to concentrate improving their skills, focus working on their projects, writing or research. The program brings together creative individuals from various different fields and backgrounds.

ArtsMarket is an annual three-day conference co-produced by the North Carolina Presenters Consortium and the North Carolina Arts Council, drawing hundreds of performing arts presenters, agents, performing artists, vendors, and service providers to downtown Durham, North Carolina. ArtsMarket’s single-track format provides numerous opportunities for connection and excellent value to attendees from the Southeastern U.S. and beyond.

Performing artists of ALL disciplines are encouraged to apply (music, dance, theatre, children’s/educational, magic, comedy, variety, professional speakers, etc.) as we are committed to presenting a wide range of diverse performances.

Drinking Gourd Gallery invites submissions for "The Weight on My Shoulders," a group exhibition to be presented in June 2024 in recognition of Men’s Mental Health Awareness month. Through a series of artwork, photography, and video, the exhibition will focus on the importance of men's mental health in both the civilian and veteran communities.

The Arts & Science Council (ASC) is accepting qualifications from emerging and experienced artists of all backgrounds in response to the Arts & Science Council Regional Artist Directory Opportunity. This directory is intended to expand ASC’s reach to create more opportunities for North Carolina and South Carolina based artists.

Wall mural - tie the history of the Town of Spring Lake to our relationship with Fort Liberty, Pope Army Airfield & Special Operations Command with emphasis to Green Beret soldiers. The mural should have a patriotic theme that recognizes our support of America and the Special Operations soldier. Suggestions for inclusion: the De Oppressor Liber shield, the Green Beret with or without appropriate flashes; statue of Gen. Yarborough meeting with Pres. Kennedy. Request RFP for more information.

The Hopper Prize is now accepting entries for our Spring 2024 artist grants. We are offering $3,500 and $1,000 grants to artists & photographers around the world. 2 artists will each receive $3,500 and 4 artists will each receive $1,000. All media eligible.

38th Chelsea International Fine Art Competition

Cape Fear Studios is proud to announce its 13th National 2D Competition. This juried competition is open to all artists, 18 or older, in the United States. The exhibit will be on display June 28- July 23, 2024 in the Cape Fear Studios Main Gallery in Fayetteville, NC. Esteemed Juror/Judge Paula B. Holtzclaw.

The Bank of the Arts National Juried Exhibition is Craven Arts Council & Gallery's signature exhibit, featuring artists and artwork from across the country, in a variety of mediums, styles, and movements.
The exhibition offers $5,000 in awards, including a $1,500 CAC&G Permanent Collection Purchase Award. The 2024 Juror will be Jeff Bell, Executive Director of the North Carolina Arts Council.
