  • NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources
    The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources awards grants to individuals and organizations to foster historical, cultural, recreational, and environmental pursuits.
  • Local Arts Councils
    Check with your local arts council for regional artist opportunities and grants. 

  • ARTS North Carolina
    Publicizes job and internship opportunities through its membership listserv. Arts North Carolina will not post job listings that do not provide a salary range or that request candidates provide a salary history. Members may submit unlimited listings at no charge. Non-members pay $100 per listing.
  • Jobs in North Carolina Government
    Jobs openings are listed for all agencies within the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, including the N.C. Arts Council.

  • Americans for the Arts
    A service for both job seekers and arts employers. Job seekers can post their resumes and use the searchable database of nonprofit and for-profit arts management positions at organizations across the United States. For a moderate fee, employers can post a job opening and use the searchable database of online resumes to find qualified professional candidates.
  • New York Foundation for the Arts
    Job seekers can access listings for free and arts organizations are charged a moderate fee to post a job opening or artist opportunity.

Public Art Town of Spring Lake - NC

Wall mural - tie the history of the Town of Spring Lake to our relationship with Fort Liberty, Pope Army Airfield & Special Operations Command with emphasis to Green Beret soldiers. The mural should have a patriotic theme that recognizes our support of America and the Special Operations soldier. Suggestions for inclusion: the De Oppressor Liber shield, the Green Beret with or without appropriate flashes; statue of Gen. Yarborough meeting with Pres. Kennedy. Grants & Fellowships Sista Creatives Rising

Sista Creatives Rising (SCR) is a project founded by Black, invisibly disabled mother-daughter duo Claire Jones and Amaranthia Sepia. Seven chosen artists of any medium/genre based in the US and Canada will receive a $200 microgrant. Artists must submit 2 minute videos about how funds will help. Funds can be used to help pay for expenses hindering their artistic process, or can be used directly for their art projects. We encourage disabled artists to apply.

Public Art Five Points Archway Mural

The Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, in collaboration with the Pitt County Civic Arts Committee, invites visual and graphic artists to create an original design for the Five Points Archway Public Art Project. Artists with a connection to Greenville, Pitt County, eastern NC, and/or ECU are encouraged to apply.

Visual Art Lights and Shadows | Juried Art Exhibition

UPWARD Gallery invites worldwide artists to submit artwork for our juried exhibition, Lights and Shadows.
Artists 18 and older are encouraged to submit their works in any medium, style, and genre.
All accepted pieces will be displayed on our website, upwardgallery.com. Art industry professionals will review the artworks, and selected pieces will be published in our magazine.

Multidisciplinary Arquetopia Foundation

Arquetopia is offering artist residency scholarships for visual artists, designers and writers in three of our four residency sites through this special subsidized program. Aimed to support diverse art practices, the Art*Aid Scholarship offers opportunities to learn and expand your artistic practice. Scholarship residencies are available in Puebla, Oaxaca or Cusco, up to 30%* for specific instructional programs and self-directed residencies.

Public Art Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex Public Art

This is an opportunity for an artist or artist-led team to create an artwork on the interior program wall at the North Plaza of the Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex located at 1601 East Gate City Boulevard in Greensboro, NC. This work will be a mosaic or relief sculptural wall approximately 12’ high by 24’ wide. The area is in the lobby entrance and program well and will be visible from the outside as well as the inside spaces.
