  • NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources
    The Department of Natural and Cultural Resources awards grants to individuals and organizations to foster historical, cultural, recreational, and environmental pursuits.
  • Local Arts Councils
    Check with your local arts council for regional artist opportunities and grants. 

  • ARTS North Carolina
    Publicizes job and internship opportunities through its membership listserv. Arts North Carolina will not post job listings that do not provide a salary range or that request candidates provide a salary history. Members may submit unlimited listings at no charge. Non-members pay $100 per listing.
  • Jobs in North Carolina Government
    Jobs openings are listed for all agencies within the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, including the N.C. Arts Council.

  • Americans for the Arts
    A service for both job seekers and arts employers. Job seekers can post their resumes and use the searchable database of nonprofit and for-profit arts management positions at organizations across the United States. For a moderate fee, employers can post a job opening and use the searchable database of online resumes to find qualified professional candidates.
  • New York Foundation for the Arts
    Job seekers can access listings for free and arts organizations are charged a moderate fee to post a job opening or artist opportunity.

Cape Fear Studios is proud to announce its 13th National 2D Competition. This juried competition is open to all artists, 18 or older, in the United States. Visual Art Craven Arts Council & Gallery

The Bank of the Arts National Juried Exhibition is Craven Arts Council & Gallery's signature exhibit, featuring artists and artwork from across the country, in a variety of mediums, styles, and movements.
The exhibition offers $5,000 in awards, including a $1,500 CAC&G Permanent Collection Purchase Award. The 2024 Juror will be Jeff Bell, Executive Director of the North Carolina Arts Council.

Residencies Ceramics Artist in Residence - Sawtooth School for Visual Art

For nearly 80 years, Sawtooth has been a creative hub for the region—an energetic craft school environment in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. Our year-long Artist-in-Residence program encourages the development of new skills, connections, and bodies of work while assisting with studio operations. Ceramic Residents, 2 in wood firing and 1 in electric/gas firing, are given 24/7 access to studio space, materials at cost, free firings, and the opportunity to teach, inspire, and energize our community.

Residencies Gondring Residency in Woodworking - Sawtooth School for Visual Art

For nearly 80 years, Sawtooth has been a creative hub for the region— fostering an energetic craft school environment in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. Visual Art Flowers | Juried Art Exhibition

UPWARD Gallery invites worldwide artists to submit artwork for our juried exhibition, Flowers.
Artists 18 and older are encouraged to submit their works in any medium, style, and genre.
Our platform is designed to share art with new audiences and help artists expand their influence and become known. To achieve our goal, we curate themed online exhibitions and publish UPWARD's Quarterly, a printed art periodical.

Public Art Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex Public Art

This is an opportunity for an artist or artist-led team to create an artwork on the interior program wall at the North Plaza of the Windsor Chavis Nocho Community Complex located at 1601 East Gate City Boulevard in Greensboro, NC. This work will be a mosaic or relief sculptural wall approximately 12’ high by 24’ wide. The area is in the lobby entrance and program well and will be visible from the outside as well as the inside spaces.
