Dear North Carolina Arts Council grantee:

I’m very pleased to inform you that the North Carolina Arts Council has awarded your organization grant funding for FY2026–27.

This spring, our dedicated staff hosted 11 panel meetings to fully consider each proposal. In total, we are awarding nearly $11 million in grants. 

The North Carolina Arts Council is actively supporting arts organizations that strengthen communities across our state as we address the evolving needs of North Carolina’s arts sector. By staying connected with our arts partners, our staff remains committed to meeting the sector’s needs and using our strategic plan to guide our path forward. I’m encouraged by the bold innovation happening in communities and schools statewide, helping make North Carolina the vibrant arts community that it is.

We’re deeply grateful to Governor Stein and the General Assembly for their strong support of our agency. Throughout the year, please take time to reach out to your elected officials and share with them the work that you do and how it strengthens the communities that they and you serve.
