It's the most wonderful time of the year! December marks the arrival of the holiday season and various and sundry "Best Of" lists from magazines, influencers and music-industry insiders who pause and take a moment to look back at the strongest musical moments of the year. Last week The New Yorker released their "Best Music of 2019" list and "The Best Music of The Decade List." We were thrilled to see Durham, North Carolina's Jake Xerxes Fussell's album "Out of Sight" on their best of list for 2019. We were also thrilled to see Durham's Hiss Golden Messenger's recording "Bad Debt," on their list of the best music of the decade. Explore their full list here. Take a listen to the title track of Fussell's latest album below.
