PineCone also partners with the towns of Cary and Wake Forest to present free outdoor concerts featuring local and regional bands from May through October. Since 1989, PineCone has had a partnership with WQDR-FM which presents the PineCone Bluegrass Show, reaching an estimated 85,000 listeners each week in 24 counties east of Raleigh. PineCone promotes participatory music sessions including a bluegrass jam, an Irish jam, and a monthly shape-note sing. |
