The Long Arm of the Arts - Reaching into Community

Red ShoesArtists all over North Carolina are reaching into communities. Some work in homeless shelters. Some work in corporate conference rooms. Some work in schools. Some are awarded prizes for their work. Some work quietly with little recognition. Some have lived in North Carolina all their lives. Some have chosen to call North Carolina home. Some live elsewhere but choose North Carolina as fertile ground to share their work. All believe in the power of art to make a difference.
