The projects and organization we invest in make our citizens productive, our communities attractive and vibrant, and showcase the independent expression that keeps us a free and democratic society. We thank you for all that you do to make art important in our daily lives.

The arts are part of us from childhood on. Every child sings. Every child dances. Every child draws. Through our work, the youngsters who use finger paints to express their view of the world today become the educated and productive workforce our state needs tomorrow to succeed in the global marketplace.

North Carolina ranks high in cultural and heritage travel in the United States. Cultural visitors spend an average of $102 per day and are attracted to the authentic experiences that our state’s arts organizations provide so richly. You are part of a potent economic engine.
