The North Carolina Arts Council database is designed to serve our constituents (arts organizations and artists) and the general public. This information is used to maintain our website, mailing list, grantee information, and to contact organizations and artists about upcoming events, opportunities, and news.
The information collected is also used by the Arts Council for planning and research and is available on request to the public for arts-related purposes. You may opt to have your name and contact information not released. Click here for our privacy policy. All Arts Council information and services are coded using the National Standard for Arts Information Exchange to help identify constituent activities and interest.
Constituents should submit more than one form if they meet the following criteria: Organizations that provide distinct services or programs, such as an arts council that also supports a gallery or a school that also supports a literary magazine. (Each record is coded differently.) Additionally, individuals who have more than one role in the arts, such as an individual artist who is also a contact person for an organization, may have more than one record.
For assistance completing this form, please contact the Arts Council at (919) 807-6500 or by email to ncarts@ncdcr.gov.
We prefer that you submit this information on-line, but if you would like to have a printable version click here.
Click here if you would like to subscribe to ArtfulLiving, our bi-monthly e-newsletter of art happenings across the state.
