Grants

The Arts Council provides grants for arts programming that benefits the citizens of North Carolina.

Grants for Organizations

To be eligible for funding, organizations must be nonprofit and must have produced quality arts programs for at least two consecutive years. The deadline for 2013–2014 organizational grant applications is Friday, March 1, 2013, at 5 p.m. To apply, visit our online application and reporting system, North Carolina ARTS Grants Online (AGO). Electronic applications will be available on January 1, 2013.

All applications will be electronically submitted, including work sample and support materials. A paper submission of the application is not required.

Grants for Artists

  • Artist Fellowships »
    $10,000 fellowships to support the creative development of N.C. artists. The next deadline is Friday, November 1, 2013, for choreographers, visual, craft artists and film/video artists.

Internships

Three-month-long internships in Community Arts Administration and Folklife. A $5,000 stipend is provided.
