Richard David Randall
Fiction Writer
"I plan to use the fellowship to help defray living expenses in order to write full-time and to read works that will help my writing. Both measure and caliber of my work will be augmented by practicing the craft (writing full-time) and enriching my knowledge base (spending more time reading). During the fellowship time-span I will focus on 1) completion of the 12-story anthology Ive been working on for some time; 2) completion of the second of two childrens stories; 3) submit the above works to a publisher; and 4) continue working on the outline of a novel Ive been brooding over for years."
Richard David Randall received a Master of Arts degree from East Carolina University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Campbell University. He was a counselor for over twenty-five years in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools in Charlotte, where he lives.
