"I plan to use the Writers Fellowship specifically to complete my second collection of short stories and to develop as a writer in general. Receiving this grant will give me more time to work on my writing, show me that others appreciate my work, and boost my confidence as a writer."

Constance Fox has a B.A. from UNC-Wilmington. She is a freelance writer who has completed manuscripts for a collection of short stories, Marrow, and a novel, Festival. She lives in Wilmington.
