"At this time in my life, my entire focus is on clarifying and expressing my artistic vision which deals with the importance of spiritual awareness in everyday life. I have arranged my time and cut my work hours in order to set up a daily schedule 6 days a week for writing, filming, producing and editing my ideas into film. I will use the fellowship to purchase a 16mm film camera, sync sound system and Lowell light kit. Having daily access to my own equipment will enable me to give form to my ideas more easily and help me to develop the fluency of my vision."

Zora Medor has a B.A. in English / Fine Arts from Trinity College, Burlington, VT, and an M.F.A. in Drama / Film / Video from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She teaches drama in the schools (from elementary to community college level) and is producer / director / writer at Zorastra Productions in Greensboro, NC where she lives.
