"The artist's Fellowship will really help me at this point in my career. A fellowship will allow me to devote the next two summers to art-making without the constraints of having to teach summer school or otherwise supplement my income during those months. It will also allow me to purchase supplies and an Alps printer (which uses light-fast and water-resistant inks for making more archival objects) and pay for a digital workshop which I need to complete my next project."

Kathleen Campbell has a B.A. and an M. Ed. from the University of Florida, Gainesville, and an M.A. and M.F.A. in photography from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. She is an assistant professor of art at Appalachian State University, Boone, NC and lives in Sugar Grove, NC.
