Ed Paolantonio Composer "I am in a unique position to write and arrange material for a variety of bands, and to perform throughout the state with my own trio or quartet. A grant would be advantageous at this time to help me record a second CD. This would help me promote my writing and playing skills to presenters in rural NC. A second CD of brand new material would help convince promoters of my continued creativity." Ed Paolantonio has an M.M. in Performance from the University of North Carolina and a B.S. in Music Education from the State University of New York in Potsdam, NY. He is a professional jazz musician, visiting lecturer at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and leader of the Ed Paolantonio Trio. He lives in Durham, NC.
