Margaret Rabb
Writer
"The writers fellowship from the NC Arts Council gives me a glimpse
of paradise. After a long hiatus, in the last three years I've
made a strong recommitment to writing poetry. The fellowship provides
a chance to pursue some ambitious projects and intensify my work
-- exactly what I've been longing to do."
Margaret Rabb holds a BA in English and French from Carolina,
where she also received a JD at the School of Law. She's the design
director of a small multimedia studio in Chapel Hill, and lives
in rural Orange County with her family. In 1997 her poems won
the Phyllis Smart Young award from The Madison Review, the winter poetry contest from Columbia journal, and the Louisiana Literature Prize for Poetry.
