Tina Lea Lovings Singer/Songwriter "I am seeking a Songwriters Fellowship to support the realization of my most recent work entitled POETRY. The vision for this group of songs came while I was recording my last CD. One night I opened a book of Emily Dickinson poetry and BAM! I heard melody and music to her words. Over the next several months I experienced the same wonderful inspiration whenever I would read various writers' poems. I began to add these poem/songs to my regular playlist. If awarded this fellowship I will be able to complete a project that I would otherwise be unable to pursue due to the overwhelming costs associated with producing a compact disc. I believe this project brings about the union of two independent art forms. When joined together, these two disciplines are enhanced, bringing a new understanding to both."
