Nathan Ross Freeman
Writer

"My intention is to use the fellowship award money as seed money to rent a small, local, 100 seat black box space in the Triad area for Montage Playwrights' Showcase Ensemble. We are a professional outfit who will over the next three seasons earn a status which will qualify our troupe of playwrights, actors, designers and technicians for funding opportunities as a professional showcase theatre."

Nathan Ross Freeman has a B.A. from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia. He is a teacher of playwriting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and publisher/editor of Piedmont Peddler, a monthly literary sampler. He lives in Winston-Salem, NC.
