"I applied for an Arts Council fellowship because I needed time
to concentrate on several writing projects longer than my usual
stories. I am now at work on a novel."
Kim Church, of Raleigh, is a writer and part-time mediator, formerly
a trial lawyer. She received her J.D. degree from the University
of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her B.A. in English from
the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
