Delia L. Neil Choreographer "With funding by the choreographer's fellowship I created three new concert dance works representing a growth in my choreographic process: my first comedic work, a partnered duet as a single work, and the exploration of the use of entrances and exits along with intricate group work. I have begun work on an evening length work using choreography and staging to develop sonnets of William Shakespeare into a theatrical work. The choreographer's fellowship has allowed me the freedom to engage professional dancers to create my work on. Prior to this, I rarely had an opportunity to fund dancers in the rehearsal and development process." Delia L. Neil lives in Charlotte, NC. Return to the NC Artist Grant Award Recipients for 1996-97
