Connie Bostic

Biography
Bostic's work has been exhibited regionally in solo and group shows. She has also completed four large-scale murals in Asheville. She has a bachelor's degree in studio art from University of North Carolina at Asheville and a master's degree in painting from Western Carolina University. Since her early teens Bostic has been an avid reader of the works of Thomas Wolfe.

Project Description

Two walls of the new visitor center lobby of the Thomas Wolfe Memorial hold Bostic's panels painted with imagery corresponding to themes and quotations from Wolfe's work. The completed work creates a patchwork of 144 panels, which resemble the pattern of a quilt.
