Project Description Installed in the rotunda and entry of the building is an acoustical mural created of sounds recorded throughout North Carolina. The sounds welcome visitors' with their familiarity as well as stir the imagination with images. Pre-selection panel Mary Beebe, Director of the Stuart Collection, University of California, Santa Barbara; Cee Brown, executive director of Creative Time, New York City; Juan Logan, painter, Belmont; Donald Barlow, principal user, and Adi Mistri, architect. Also participating in the selection process was Revenue analyst Geri Greenhill.
