Biography
Mary Ann Mears has a B.A. degree from Mount Holyoke College and an M.A. degree from New York University. She has completed numerous public and corporate art commissions, including works for the City of Baltimore and the State of Connecticut percent for art programs.

Project Description
A mobile sculpture made of painted aluminum will be suspended from the ceiling of the lobby of the Education Technology Complex. Objects and ideas related to campus life will make up the forms: the rib cage from a deer skeleton found in the school's laboratory, willow oak leaves, a Mobius strip, as well as wave patterns connecting the artwork to the broadcasting activities of the long distance learning center of the facility.
