Project Description
Frega designed functional furniture pieces made of steel, cast iron and recycled materials for use in the chancel area of the chapel. The recycled materials contain parts of guns, trains, printing presses and farm machinery. Frega said, These pieces respond to the school's interest in the symbolism of taking things discarded and turning them into something functional, something of benefit to society -- and, in this case, something spiritual.
