GREENSBORO Location Piedmont Triad Farmers Market Artist Jan Chenoweth and Roger Halligan Biography Jan Chenoweth has a B.F.A. degree from Virginia Intermont College and Florida State University. She has taught painting, drawing and art history at several colleges and universities and exhibited her work widely in the southeast. Roger Halligan has a B.A. degree from LeMoyne College and an M.F.A. degree from the University of Georgia in Athens. He was an exhibit designer for the N.C. Zoological Park for several years and has taught sculpture at the Center for Creative Arts in Greensboro. He has exhibited his work in numerous group and solo exhibitions in the southeast. Project Description The lawn area between the two retail areas of the market will host seating, landscaping and a play area created by the artists. A decorative steel trellis with wooden walkways and sculptural concrete benches covered with low relief sculptured vines will complete the design. Pre-selection panel John D.
